The final direction combines a bold, sculpted lens-inspired symbol with clean modern typography, resulting in a strong logo & brand identity that works seamlessly across watermarking, print materials, and digital platforms.
For Michael Sanchez Photography, the goal was to create a minimalist, timeless logo design that clearly reflects the photography industry while avoiding overused camera clichés.
Tools & Process
Developed multiple logo concepts exploring subtle lens integration. Refined geometry and proportions to create a balanced, scalable logo mark. Selected a modern sans-serif typography system to support a clean and timeless brand identity. Built both horizontal and stacked layouts to ensure flexible brand usage across platforms. Prepared a complete vector deliverable package in AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, and PNG formats.
All elements were constructed in Adobe Illustrator to ensure precision, scalability, and production-ready output.
Brand Strategy
The strategy focused on three key pillars: creating a recognizable photography logo without relying on generic camera icons, maintaining a strong black-and-white visual system to achieve timeless elegance, and ensuring the logo system functions seamlessly at every scale — from a subtle social media watermark to large-format prints.
The result is a bold yet refined brand identity that communicates professionalism, clarity, and artistic confidence.

Delivered a custom primary logo design in a horizontal orientation along with alternative layout variations to ensure flexibility. Included both black-on-white and white-on-black versions to maintain consistency across different backgrounds. Provided a complete vector file package in AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, and PNG formats, with optimized files prepared specifically for watermark and print use.
